The artwork reflects the rich history and myths surrounding Athena, with details that bring the ancient world to life. This game blends historical themes and classic style in a straightforward, visually appealing way.

How Age of Athena Works

Age of Athena is a 5-reel, 4-row slot game developed by G. Games. The gameplay is structured as a ‘ways’ system, rewarding combinations from left to right. Players can place bets ranging from £0.10 to £2.00 on each spin.

The game features a variety of symbols, including the ‘BOAT’ scatter and the ‘OLIVE’ symbol, each offering distinctive features and rewards throughout play.

Fundamentals of Gameplay

  • Select your preferred bet amount using the bet control buttons.
  • Start the game by pressing the Spin button.
  • Payline wins are paid from leftmost reel to the right. Only the highest win per way is counted, but multiple ways can win simultaneously and will be added together.
  • The RTP (Return to Player) is visible within the game interface.
  • For details about payouts and features, the paytable can be accessed through the game menu.
  • Game sounds can be toggled on or off.

Bonus Features and Special Symbols

Free Spins Feature

The Free Spins round is activated when three or more ‘BOAT’ scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels. The number of free spins awarded depends on the number of scatters:

  • 3 scatters: 10 free spins
  • 4 scatters: 15 free spins
  • 5 scatters: 25 free spins

During this feature, after the initial payout, any win with 'ATHENA' symbols across three or more reels will be awarded, even if those reels are not consecutive. Free spins can be retriggered by landing three or more additional ‘BOAT’ scatter symbols during the feature, awarding the respective number of free spins as above. Free spins are played at the same stake as the round that triggered the feature.

Money Respin Feature

Landing six or more ‘OLIVE’ symbols in a single spin launches the Money Respin feature. In this round:

  • All symbols except ‘OLIVE’ are removed from the reels.
  • Three respins are granted, and each time an ‘OLIVE’ symbol lands, the respins reset back to three.
  • The feature continues until no new ‘OLIVE’ symbols appear in three consecutive respins.
  • Each ‘OLIVE’ symbol displays a prize, and at the end of the feature, the combined value of all ‘OLIVE’ symbols in view is awarded.
  • Some ‘OLIVE’ symbols may display MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, or GRAND labels, granting their associated prize values shown above the reels when landed.

Payouts and Limits

The maximum potential payout in Age of Athena is capped at 1250 times the stake. If a win exceeds this amount, it will be limited to this maximum payout. Please be aware that the actual win cap may be set lower by the operator, which would make the maximum payout less than 1250x. For further details regarding the specific win cap, contact the operator.

In the base game, the highest single symbol win multiplier is 3.5x, with odds of 25,386. Greater winnings are possible through combinations of features and wins across multiple ways being added together.
