How Crystal Vault Works

Crystal Vault is an online slot game by Light & Wonder, featuring a 5-reel layout with 25 paylines. Players can place bets from £0.30 up to £3.00 per spin. The paylines pay from left to right, with wins beginning on the leftmost reel. Only the highest win on each payline is awarded and all wins are multiplied by the bet multiplier, except for Scatter wins which use the total bet. Wins from different paylines are added together, and Scatter wins are added to other payline results. The game follows strict rules and pays according to the paytable. In the event of a malfunction, all pays and plays are voided.

Wild Symbols

  • Wild: Substitutes for all symbols except Scatter, WILD 2x, and WILD 3x. This symbol appears on reels 2, 3, and 4 only.
  • Wild 2x: Acts as a substitute for all symbols except Scatter, WILD, and WILD 3x. Any win using a WILD 2x symbol is doubled. This symbol is available exclusively on reels 2, 3, and 4 during Bonus Respins once Reel Screen 2 is unlocked.
  • Wild 3x: Replaces all symbols except Scatter, WILD, and WILD 2x. Wins that include WILD 3x are multiplied by 3. This symbol is found on reels 2, 3, and 4 during Bonus Respins when Reel Screens 2 and 3 are unlocked.

Scatter Symbols

  • Scatter: Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels awards 8 Bonus Respins. Scatter symbols pay in any position as follows:
    • 5 Scatters: 40
    • 4 Scatters: 20
    • 3 Scatters: 2
  • Scatter symbols appear on all reels during the main game and on reels 2 and 4 of Reel Screen 1 during Bonus Respins.

Bonus Respins Feature

  • Trigger 8 Bonus Respins by landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols in the base game.
  • During Bonus Respins, landing any 2 Scatter symbols resets the number of respins to 8 and unlocks additional Reel Screens, up to a maximum of 3.
  • The WILD 2x multiplier is activated on Reel Screen 2 after the first respin retrigger, remaining available on Reel Screens 1 and 2 for all subsequent respins in the feature.
  • The WILD 3x multiplier is unlocked on Reel Screen 3 after the second respin retrigger and stays available on Reel Screens 1, 2, and 3 for the rest of the feature.
  • Wins can be multiplied by as much as 27x when wild multipliers combine.
  • All Bonus Respins are played at the lines and bet size that triggered the feature.
  • Every win from all Reel Screens during Bonus Respins is accumulated in the Win meter.
