Pearl Catcher is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot game provided by Games Global Studio. The aim is to spin the reels and achieve combinations of matching symbols. Winning combinations are clearly displayed on the reels, and payouts are awarded accordingly.

Ways to Win

This slot features 243 ways to win. Wins are formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels, running from left to right, beginning with the first reel. Each combination follows a distinct pattern of adjacent symbol positions, and only the highest win per symbol combination is paid out. The total payout for a spin is the sum of all winning combinations formed via these ways.

Wild Symbols

Wild symbols help complete winning combinations by substituting for other symbols, excluding Scatters, Pearl symbols, and Clam symbols. Wilds do not carry their own payout and appear only on reels 2, 3, and 4.

Scatter Symbols

Scatter symbols appear during the base game only and do not have a payout. They are key to unlocking bonus features within the game.

The Pearl Catcher Feature

Special pearl symbols—pink, blue, decorated pink, and decorated blue—can land on reels 1 through 4. These pearls carry the following cash prizes based on your current bet:

  • Pink and blue pearls: 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 3.5x, or 4x
  • Decorated pink and decorated blue pearls: 5x, 6x, 7.5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, or 50x

The clam symbol acts as a collection symbol and only appears on reel 5. The clam’s colour—pink, blue, or a combination of both—is revealed after it lands:

  • If the clam is blue, it collects all prizes from blue and decorated blue pearls.
  • If the clam is pink, it collects all prizes from pink and decorated pink pearls.
  • If the clam is dual-coloured, it collects prizes from all pearl symbols regardless of colour.

Once prizes from corresponding pearls are collected, the Rolling Reelsâ„¢ feature activates. Collected pearl symbols are removed, and symbols above them cascade down to fill the gaps. If new pearl symbols appear and another collection takes place, the Rolling Reelsâ„¢ feature is triggered again. This repeats until there are no longer matching pearls to collect, with the Pearl Catcher feature resolving before any standard way wins are calculated.

Activating Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels awards 8 Free Spins. The Free Spins occur with the same total bet and ways as the spin that initiated the feature. Free Spins cannot be retriggered by Scatters, but extra Free Spins may be given during the Clam Multiplier feature. All wins during Free Spins are added to the base game winnings.

Clam Multiplier Feature in Free Spins

During Free Spins, the Clam Multiplier feature becomes active. A multiplier ladder contains 10 steps: 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 15x, and 50x. Each time a clam symbol lands on reel 5, the multiplier moves up one step. The current multiplier boosts only the Pearl Catcher feature wins.
