How to Play Phoenix Fury

Phoenix Fury is a five-reel slot game from Indigo Magic, played on a 5x3 grid layout. In the base game, there are 243 ways to win, with combinations formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. The same symbol or its substitute appearing in a different position on the same reel can contribute to multiple ways wins. Only the highest win for each symbol combination per way is paid, while scatter wins are added separately to ways wins. When there are multiple wins from different ways, all are accumulated for a total win. Scatter wins are only paid for the highest scatter win per play.

The phoenix symbol serves as the wild, substituting for all other symbols except the Scatter and Cash Prize symbols. Wild symbols appear exclusively on reels 1 and 2.

Betting Options

The betting range for Phoenix Fury begins at £0.30 and goes up to £1.80. The game launches with a preset bet, but players can adjust the amount using the plus and minus buttons by the bet display, or by selecting the bet amount to access the selector. Free Spins Feature

Trigger the Free Spins by landing 3, 4, or 5 Gold Phoenix Scatter symbols, awarding 10, 15, or 50 free games, respectively. Upon entering Free Games, the playing area expands with an added bonus reel, transforming the layout to 6x3 for the duration of the feature. The bet level for free games matches that of the spin that activated the bonus. During Free Spins, landing 3, 4, or 5 additional Gold Phoenix symbols will retrigger 10, 15, or 50 further free games. The Phoenix Wild Respin Feature may also occur while free games are active, and the free game count resumes once the respin round ends.

Phoenix Wild Respin Feature

The Phoenix Wild Respin Feature is activated when a Phoenix Wild symbol appears on either reel 1 or 2. If only one reel shows a Phoenix Wild, a second Phoenix Wild might randomly be added to the missing reel to initiate the feature.

  • Base Game: If the feature triggers during the base game, the reels may expand to add an extra row or reel, creating a possible 3x3x4x4x4x4 setup. One respin is granted. All Phoenix Wilds on reels 1 and 2 and positions with Cash Prize symbols lock in place. Any new Cash Prize symbols that appear during a respin also lock for any remaining respins. Only adjacent Cash Prize symbols award wins, while non-adjacent ones are displayed but do not pay.
  • Free Spins: When this feature activates during a free game, reels 3, 4, 5, and 6 may expand vertically to show four symbol positions high, and two respins are awarded.

Following every respin, if a reel from 3 to 5 does not show a Cash Prize symbol, a position may be randomly converted into one. If at any stage, all positions are filled with Cash Prize symbols, no further respins occur and the sum of all collected Cash Prizes is paid for each remaining respin. Locked Cash Prize symbols remain in place throughout the feature.
