How to Play Dynamite Frenzy

Dynamite Frenzy is a five-reel slot with ten paylines, developed by Light & Wonder. Players can choose stakes from a minimum of £0.10 up to a maximum of £5.00 per spin. All winning combinations are formed from left to right along the game's ten paylines, unless specified differently by a feature.

The expected return for this game is shown in-game. All outcomes are determined at random and each spin is independent of those before it. The game does not have a jackpot feature.

Symbols and Core Mechanics

  • Wild Symbol: The Wild can appear on any of the five reels, substituting for all symbols except for the Bonus and Dwarf symbols. The Wild substitutes for Cash symbols only for the purposes of win lines. If five Wilds line up consecutively, the highest paying symbol is awarded.
  • Bonus Symbol: The Bonus symbol is a scatter and may appear on any reel.
  • Cash Symbols: There are three visually distinct types of Cash symbols—bronze, silver, and gold—but all act as the same symbol for win line purposes. Different coloured Cash symbols can appear together on a single win line. Each type of Cash symbol is attached to specific multipliers:
    • Bronze Cash: x2, x3, x4, x5
    • Silver Cash: x10, x15, x20
    • Gold Cash: x25, x30, x35, x40, x45, x50

    The award from each Cash symbol is calculated as its multiplier multiplied by your stake. The multiplier can only be triggered when a Dwarf symbol lands.

  • Dwarf Symbol: The Dwarf is a scatter symbol that can appear on any reel. When a Dwarf lands, it collects the multipliers from all Cash symbols present on the reels.

Special Features and Bonus Rounds

Dynamite Respin

  • The Dynamite Respin feature is triggered whenever one or more Dwarf symbols land on the reels. Any win lines are paid out before the feature begins.
  • Up to 14 Dynamite symbols are added randomly to available positions on the reels, avoiding positions already occupied by Cash, Bonus, or Dynamite symbols.
  • In the base game, each Dynamite symbol explodes to reveal either a Cash or Bonus symbol. In Free Spins, only Cash symbols can be revealed.
  • Bonus symbols can only be revealed if there are already 2, 3, or 4 Bonus symbols present on the reels.
  • After Dynamite symbols reveal their contents, each Dwarf symbol collects the Cash symbol multipliers (multiplied by your stake) and their combined value is awarded.
  • If, at the end of this feature, three or more Bonus symbols are present, the Free Spins round is triggered.

Free Spins

  • The number of Free Spins you receive is determined by the triggering combination, as indicated in-game.
  • During Free Spins, the quantity of Dwarf symbols appearing on the reels is increased, which in turn raises the frequency of the Dynamite Respin trigger.
  • If one or more Bonus symbols land during Free Spins, each will award an extra Free Spin.
  • If both Free Spins and a Dynamite Respin are triggered together in a spin, the Dynamite Respin will be resolved first.
  • All Free Spins play at the same stake and with the same payline combinations as the base game spin that activated them.
  • The Free Spins feature concludes when no Free Spins remain.
